Silver ring or Claddagh ring: which workshop
Two classes from the same teachers, and who each one suits.

| Workshop | Best for |
|---|---|
| Silver ring | A plain band you shape, texture and polish your own way |
| Claddagh ring | A traditional Irish heart, crown and hands design |
What each one makes
Both end with a sterling silver ring made to fit, and both take two hours with a tutor at your side.
The silver ring
Here the decisions are yours: the finger, the curve, one of three textures and the polish. The tutor solders the seam, and everything else is hands-on.
The Claddagh ring
You begin with a Claddagh ring strip, mark it with a scribe and pierce it with a jeweller’s saw, then shape the circle with pliers and a ring mandrel.
What the guests say
Both carry a 4.9 average, from 2,116 reviews for the silver ring and 231 for the Claddagh. Guests describe patient tutors and a ring they were proud to have made.
Which to pick
If the story matters, take the Claddagh ring. If you want a simpler band and the freedom to choose its finish, take the silver ring.
Both share the same rules
The age limits, the English requirement and the steep stairs are the same for both, so a group can choose either without changing the plan.
